THE STATUS OF PROFESSOR, RESEARCHER AND AFFILIATED LECTURER

The Rector of the University of Warsaw may grant the status of profesor, researcher or lecturer affiliated with the University of Warsaw to a person who is not an employee of the University and who participates in the conduct of research, development work or teaching activities at the University for a fixed period of time.

The status of professor, researcher or lecturer affiliated with the University of Warsaw shall give the holder the right to

• conduct research, development or teaching pursuant to the rules laid down by the Rector, the Dean or the head of a university organisational unit,
• participation in programmes, projects or undertakings carried out at the University of Warsaw on terms and conditions laid down by the Rector, the Dean or the head of a university organisational unit,
• use of faculty libraries and the University Library in Warsaw in accordance with the rules applicable to academic staff,
• the use of other resources of the University of Warsaw, a faculty or a university organisational unit, including premises, laboratories, materials, research equipment or devices, to the extent determined by the Rector, a dean or the head of a university organisational unit.

The procedure for granting the status of professor, researcher or lecturer affiliated with the University of Warsaw is regulated by: Order No. 76 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 17 April 2020 on defining the procedure for granting the status of professor, researcher or lecturer affiliated with the University of Warsaw.
